Memorial Day– where to go?

Memorial Day

Memorial Day weekend is seen as the unofficial start of summer, and as such, it is a popular holiday enjoyed with outdoor events and honors the men and women who died while serving the U.S. military.

Enclosed below, I’ve listed a few of my favorite places to celebrate.

Enjoy your weekend!

For Partying - The Deck

The best sunset venue for dinner or drinks. Located at the super yacht marina, dine in the company of some of the worlds most impressive boats. Their memorial day party will be great and is sure to include live music, entertainers, and great Mediterranean food. Try and catch the sunset there!

With Miami’s current population exploding with all walks of life relocating here, beach clubs and public beaches are often crowded. You have two options, wake up early and beat the rush or take care of someone that can help you get a prime location to enjoy your beach day.

Lately, I have been going to the Edition Hotel and purchasing an amenity/guest pass that allows me and a guest to use the amenities, beach service, pool and spa.

The Edition is a great hotel with unbelievable ambiance and I have found it to be a little more quiet recently, given that it is a hotel and not just a beach as per say Soho House. This allows me to enjoy the day and still be taken care of with great service.

If you want to have the ultimate weekend, absolutely rent a boat. Yachtlife are friends of mine some years now and they offer great 5-star service to their customers.

Get picked up at several different pick up points and captains on board will accommodate whatever type of charter you are looking for. Whether it’s going to an island for a picnic and swimming or sightseeing all of what Miami’s waterfront has to offer or drop anchor and get the party started.

Yachtlife has various types of boats from all sizes and all budgets. Reservations will fill up so make sure to book it ASAP!

If you or anyone you know may be interested in learning more about Miami and it’s events, give me a call.
